Central Division two league side, TBM Health put in a dominant display earlier today, securing a 3-0 win against National Super League (NSL) side, Mofa FC in a friendly match played at the Kenyatta International Stadium, in Mamboleo, Kisumu.
MOFA stands for Michael Olunga Football Academy. Olunga, national football team Harambee Stars captain plies his trade with Qatar Super League (QSL) side Al-Duhail.
The match which was Mofa’s first under the new coach, Charles Odero, saw TBM outshine their opponents with a commanding performance.
Striker Dickson Raila was the star of the show, netting a brace to give TBM a comfortable lead in the first half.
His clinical finishing put the home side in control before Maurice Otieno alias Ozil, sealed the victory with a well-taken goal after the halftime break.
Under the guidance of coach Chrispine Okoth, TBM is determined to secure promotion to the FKF Division One League, and today’s performance was a testament to their ambition.
They controlled possession, created numerous chances and showcased their attacking prowess against a well-established NSL side.
TBM continues to build momentum as they push for a spot in the higher division.
On the other hand, Mofa and their new coach will have to go back to the drawing board, regroup and make necessary adjustments moving forward.
