60 CAF B and C coaches graduate in Nairobi

60 coaches graduated from the CAF B and C coaching courses in a joint ceremony held at the Kenya Institute of Education (KISE) in Nairobi on Friday, November 15, 2024.

The event was presided over by FKF Deputy President Doris Petra and CEO Patrick Korir, who lauded the graduates for their commitment to advancing their coaching careers and raising the standards of football in the country.

Notably, this year’s CAF C class made history as the first all-female cohort to complete the program, underscoring the federation’s commitment to empowering women in football.

This groundbreaking achievement aligns with FKF’s strategic focus on fostering inclusivity and providing equal opportunities for women in the sport.

Speaking during the ceremony, Deputy President Doris Petra emphasised the importance of equipping coaches with the skills and knowledge to nurture talent across the country.

“These graduations signify not only personal growth but also a collective step forward for Kenyan football. We are proud of the strides we are making to enhance coaching standards at all levels,” she remarked.

The graduation also serves as a precursor to another CAF C graduation scheduled for December 6, which will cap off a productive year for the federation’s coaching development programs.

Today’s event highlights the Football Kenya Federation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the technical expertise within the football ecosystem, ensuring that Kenyan coaches are well-prepared to compete and excel on both local and international stages.
