Beneficiaries of the Luanda Member of Parliament (MP) Dick Maungu’s scholarship program have completed a two-day intensive mentorship session held at the Emmutsa National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) offices.
The training brought together professionals from various fields who offered guidance, motivation, and career insights to help the learners prepare for both academic success and future opportunities.
According to organizers, the mentorship initiative was designed to shape students’ thinking, expose them to real-life experiences, and equip them with practical skills that inspire excellence in school.
Throughout the sessions, the learners engaged in interactive discussions, personal development lessons, and goal-setting activities aimed at boosting their confidence and ambition.
Stakeholders expressed optimism that the students will perform well, noting the tremendous growth they have shown since joining the program.
The mentorship event received strong support from partners who have been working closely with the Luanda National Government (NG-CDF) office to empower the learners.
Maungu’s scholarship program continues to play a major role in uplifting bright but needy students within the constituency.
Through financial support and consistent mentoring, the initiative aims to produce responsible, focused and high-achieving young leaders who can positively impact their communities.
Parents, teachers and local leaders have lauded the ongoing efforts, urging students to remain disciplined and committed as they progress in their education.
