During the launch, Kenya Breweries Limited Managing Director, Mark Ocitti, expressed his appreciation for the enduring partnership between Tusker and the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU), which dates back to the inaugural Safari Sevens in 1996. He emphasized the importance of this collaboration in supporting the growth of rugby, from grassroots to professional levels, stating, “This relationship is pivotal in nurturing the game at all stages from the grassroot level to proffesional levels.”
